How can we help?

Answers to common questions about sending money with NeaRemit.

Sending money

NeaRemit sends to countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe. Available payout methods, such as bank deposit and mobile wallet, depend on the destination country and are shown before you send.

You can pay with a U.S. debit card or directly from your U.S. bank account. Available methods and any related fees are shown before you confirm.

Mobile wallet transfers usually arrive in minutes. Bank deposits usually arrive the same or next business day. The estimated delivery date is shown on your receipt.

Yes. Limits depend on your verification level, your state and the payout method. You can see your current limits in your account and request higher limits by providing more information.

Fees & exchange rates

Our rate includes a margin over the wholesale market rate. The exact rate for your transfer, and the amount your recipient receives, are disclosed before you pay and on your receipt.

NeaRemit does not charge recipients. Some banks or wallet providers may charge their own fees, and where we know about them we disclose them before you pay.

Account & verification

As a money services business, NeaRemit must verify the identity of its customers under the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act and screen transfers against sanctions lists. This protects you and the financial system.

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, use multi-factor authentication, and never sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Cancellations, refunds & errors

You can cancel shortly after payment for a full refund, unless the funds have already been picked up or deposited. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

If you think there was an error with your transfer, contact us within 180 days of the promised delivery date. We will investigate and tell you the results within 90 days. Details are in our Terms and Conditions.
